Faraday Showcases Networking and Multimedia ASIC and IP Solutions at ESEC Tokyo

Faraday Technology Corporation (TAIEX: 3035), a leading ASIC and IP provider, today announced that it will showcase state-of-the-art ASIC technologies, platforms and IP products throughout the 2006 Embedded Systems Expo & Conference at Booth #5-29 from June 28 to 30 in Tokyo. Multimedia SoC Solution: Faraday will demonstrate its FIC8120 MediaComposer, a multimedia SoC platform targeting digital surveillance, DVR, video streaming device, and IPTV markets.

Network Platform SoC Solution: Faraday and SafeNet will jointly demonstrate SafeXcel-5160, the most cost effective security processor for Gigabit class SME appliances that SafeNet developed based on Faraday's NetComposer-1 (NC-1) Structured ASIC platform.
