Gliffy Inc. Opens Public Beta of Web Based Diagram Editor23 May 2006
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) May 22, 2006 -- Gliffy Inc. has made its online diagraming application open for public beta testing, joining other web applications which aim to become alternatives to traditional desktop software. Gliffy was created by founders Chris Kohlhardt and Clint Dickson to combine the features users expect from traditional desktop diagraming software with the collaboration and deployment opportunities the internet provides. Gliffy currently offers the ability to produce flow charts, floor plans, network diagrams, user interface wireframes, and other simple diagrams through a web browser without requiring end users to install additional software. Gliffy is free while in public beta, and subscription pricing plans will be announced soon. Gliffy is built on the open source platform, OpenLaszlo, which enables the rapid development of rich web applications. Gliffy Beta is immediately available to try at http://www.gliffy.com/gliffy/
