McClenahan Bruer Adds Three to Meet Demand for Integrated Marketing Communications Services23 February 2006
McClenahan Bruer Communications (McBru) has hired James McIntyre, Reyaz Rohani and Chris Logan to address growing demand for the agency's integrated public relations, creative, advertising, direct marketing and e-marketing services. In recent years, the 13-year-old agency has expanded its client focus while remaining firmly anchored in business-to-business technology markets, adding global IT services companies, software developers and storage technology providers to a client roster that also includes semiconductor, electronic design automation and test and measurement accounts. James McIntyre brings a diverse range of agency experience to the position of communications counsel. McIntyre supports the PR, advertising and lead generation needs of McBru's client PolyServe, an IT software supplier based in Beaverton, Ore. Prior to McBru, McIntyre served as account supervisor at Lane, where he led public relations programs for consumer and business-to-business accounts including Oregon Scientific, Eid Passport and Credit Suisse, as well as serving as point person for the agency's crisis communications team. McIntyre began his career in integrated technology communications and spent seven years leading advertising, public relations and creative programs for clients in the semiconductor, electronics assembly, medical manufacturing and data storage markets. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and philosophy from San Diego State University. Joining the agency's creative department as a graphic designer is Reyaz Rohani. Rohani comes to McBru with a broad portfolio of print and online design work in the technology, transportation, education, culinary arts and real estate sectors, including brand identity projects for Portland State University and Safetech. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in graphic design from Portland State University. Intern Chris Logan is the third recent graduate to take advantage of McClenahan Bruer's internship program, which kicked off in 2005. He holds a Master of Science degree in management communication and public relations from the University of Portland and a Bachelor of Science degree in speech communication from Western Oregon University.
