NetPro Computing, Inc., a leading provider ofdistributed services management software, today announced RestoreADmin 2.5,a significant upgrade to its online backup and restore solution for ActiveDirectory. RestoreADmin 2.5 includes new features that enable advancedsorting, grouping and search functionality for deleted objects, an enhancedbackup engine that reduces network utilization, database storageimprovements like reference storage and dramatically enhanced reportingcapabilities.

RestoreADmin 2.5 allows administrators to perform easy online restorationsof existing or deleted objects and their associated attributes, savingvaluable time and reducing the risk of outages by eliminatingtime-consuming scripts and manual processes. Plus, when used inconjunction with ChangeAuditor, NetPro's auditing and configurationsolution, it provides immediate notification of deleted objects and theability to pull forensic audit data uncovering "Who" deleted the object.RestoreADmin 2.5 also enables administrators to create and schedulecentralized backups of supported Active Directory objects, driving userproductivity and reducing downtime. RestoreADmin 2.5 also reduces networkload by only backing up objects that have changed since the last completebackup.
