SmartDisk Corporation announced today thatit has begun shipping its new FireLite XPress portable, palm-sized harddrive with cholesteric liquid crystal display (LCD). The drive, availablein 60GB and 120GB versions, is now available at major reseller websites, aswell as at www.smartdisk.com. Soon FireLite XPress will be available inmajor consumer electronic retail stores.

SmartDisk FireLite XPress with Always-On Display
FireLite XPress features an always-on LCD that is readable without power,identifies the drive by a user-designated name, indicates the last datethat information was recorded, provides a table of contents for the driveand displays drive capacity and available space.
SmartDisk FireLite drives are designed for users who require convenient,portable storage to backup critical data, transport and synchronize databetween multiple computers, and want to free up valuable hard disk space onexisting computers. FireLite drives are ideal for transferring large filesbetween home and office, for storing hours of superior quality video orwarehousing huge graphics files.
