StorageMedia.com all ready has a successful and widely utilized program for "buy back" and recycling of used data tapes. They have now added the option of "donating" your used supplies to one of their approved charities OR to one selected by you.

We buy all types of storage media such as SDLT, DLT, LTO, ½" 3570, 3590, 9840 and 9940 cartridges, 4mm, DDS, 8mm, AIT, Mammoth AME, optical media, compact flash and secure digital cards, memory sticks and multi-media cards, other data storage supplies, equipment and devices.

Can I DONATE my used media?
Recoup more of your original expense with our donation program. Some companies have now decided to DONATE their surplus inventories instead of selling them. We work closely with a non-profit organization to make this a viable option. This allows your company to recoup a larger percentage of the initial expense of the media. Consult your tax preparation professional or accountant before choosing this option. Donations may be also be made to the non-profit organization of your choice.
