TMP Directional Marketing Selects n|Frame to Manage its Data Center and Network Infrastructure18 February 2006
Being the world’s largest Yellow Pages advertising agency with more than 1,700 clients does not afford much room for system downtime. That is why TMP Directional Marketing recently outsourced management of its data center operations and network infrastructure to Indianapolis-based n|Frame, Inc.

TMP Directional Marketing is a global organization that uses Web technology to manage its clients’ national and local Yellow Page and interactive advertising content. The company maintains a content repository across an extensive server network that must be maintained 24/7.

When the New York-based company began investigating professional technology partners last May, it defined five primary requirements. These include a bundled data center and network management service package, total security of its clients’ personal information, 24/7 system availability, agile network bandwidth to accommodate seasonal content demand fluctuations and a team of professional engineers to vigilantly monitor, maintain and trouble-shoot any system problems.
After a comprehensive six-month search for the right technology partner, TMP Directional Marketing selected n|Frame to house its servers and manage its network. Just last month TMP Directional Marketing completed the migration of 90 additional servers from its Maynard, Mass. facility to n|Frame’s data center in Carmel, Ind. As a result, n|Frame is helping the company provide a greater level of service to its clients and realize a cost reduction in IT staff and support.
