Fujitsu to Showcase Innovative Magneto-Optical Storage and Scanning Solutions at Digital
Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc., a leader in document imaging scanners, services and removable storage solutions, today announced that it will display the award-winning ScanSnap(TM) scanning solution and 1.3GB and 2.3GB removable Magneto-Optical (MO) storage solutions at the CES 2005 press event, Digital Experience! on Wednesday, January 5 from 7-10 p.m. at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas.

The Fujitsu ScanSnap scanner is the first and only high-speed, double-sided color scanner that scans at speeds up to 15 pages per minute (PPM) for single-sided documents and 30 images per minute (IPM) for double-sided documents. ScanSnap is priced under $500 and is a compact, upright, one-touch color scanner which allows users to quickly convert paper documents into searchable Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files using Adobe® Acrobat® 6.0 Standard software. Additionally, the 1.3GB Fujitsu DynaMO® 1300 Pocket drive, now with SecureMO Folder file encryption software, and the Fujitsu 2.3GB DynaMO 2300U2 provide consumers and mobile professionals with an easy way to backup and archive important data and computer files virtually anywhere.
